Bump, without a post? - Page 2 - Freebie Society

Well I will see what I can do. It's not really a matter of what I want. But a matter of what I can find in mods out there to do this. I am talking to a guy who might be able to hook me up. If I can get in contact with him that is. I will keep you guys posted. More opinions is always a great thing.

I like posting. And if that is what bumps our thread, so be it.

My old mind is going bad and I don't remember each sites' rules. So when I go to post to my thread, I have forgotten if it is once every 12, once every 24 or once every 8. So the thread tool of bumping keeps me in line and I know I won't make a mistake. So if that was possible, it is a kewl tool to have available.

But if not, then I'll just have to kick myself to figure out when to bump my thread on my own. Probably good exercise for the old brain.

So, whatever is possible and whatever the final decision, then great! I come for the work, not what rules are imposed upon me.

We already have a mod in place to restrict bumping. So you can only bump one every 8 hours. I am going to try and make it so you can bump 3-4 times in a 24 hour period. In such a way where you can bump any time during that 24 hour period.

I agree here As I work nights mostly I like to bump only during the day and if its set at 1 every 8 hrs that really limits me.
I like the option on Flr on Bump when you want and reply when you want to your post. Since I'm used to bumping 3 times in a 8 hr period usually.
